Vancouver Indian Forum started a Facebook group for Indian Students in Vancouver. Lots of Indians coming to Vancouver on student visa.
This group is an online community for young Indians living in, or coming to Vancouver, BC, Canada as students. Ex-students are welcome to join the group for providing the mentorship to the newcomers.
Purpose of the group is:
- Providing mentorship to Indian Students coming to Vancouver from India.
- Providing a platform for Indian Students already in Vancouver to connect with each other and help when possible
- Sharing Useful & Meaningful Information for the Indian Students Community in Vancouver.

Hi, I will be joining UBC, Vancouver during 1st week of September 2021. As per the government guidelines, I have to be self-quarantined for a period of 15 days before the beginning of university. Self-isolation facilities at UBC have been overbooked, so I am looking for an alternate arrangement. Along with me, 9-10 students will be traveling from my place. Since all of us are minor, hotel reservations can not be done in our names. It will be helpful to us if you guide us where we can get alternate self-isolation accommodation at a cheaper rate.
